Dr Anna Olsson-Brown

Medical Oncology Registrar

Anna Olsson-Brown is a Consultant in Medical Oncology at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Liverpool and an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Liverpool.

She specialises in the management of immunotherapy toxicity, melanoma, sarcoma and early phase/ translational clinical trials. She also has an interest in acute oncology and supportive care for cancer patients. She undertook a PhD in mechanisms of immunotherapy toxicity and has published extensively in the area. She set up and leads a pan-tumour, pan-regional immunotherapy toxicity service supporting inpatients and outpatients with immunotherapy toxicities. She is the current immunotherapy toxicity work stream lead for the NIHR Oncology Translational Research Committee (O-TRC) and a board member of UKASC and MyMelanoma.

Within Clatterbridge she is the associate clinical director for Acute Care, Chair of the Immunotherapy Committee and Deputy Chair of Supportive Care SRG. She is a current Clinical Advisor to Health Education England and is the past chair of both the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges Academy Trainee Doctor Group (ATDG) and the National Oncology Trainee Collaboration for Healthcare Research (NOTCH).
